We are loggers — FULLY committed to doing what’s best for the future of our industry.
The Louisiana Logger’s Association, Inc. (originally the Louisiana Wood Haulers Association 1976) was founded by a group of timbermen for the principal purpose of providing a voice for loggers and wood haulers in the State of Louisiana.
In order to more effectively sustain and to promote the logging industry today, loggers must have a voice in the development of legislative and regulatory policies that play a vital role in our businesses.
In 2020, LLA reorganized and redirected our purpose. Louisiana loggers are struggling to survive this insurance crisis — Representation at the capitol is vital! Thus, a Political Action Committee (PAC) is now in place to help advocate on behalf of our members. We have added more loggers to our Board of Directors and developed many new friendships and alliances with legislators/associations in Baton Rouge. These strategic efforts are yielding results that are directly benefiting the timber industry in our great state.
The Louisiana Logger Association’s mission is to ensure that Louisiana logging and log hauling businesses remain viable and to promote the image and profitability of its membership.
